Brian Buckley

2008: Started in 34 of 34 games played, batting .297 with one home run…. Ranked second on team in hits (38) and third on team for RBIs (23)….  Achieved a slugging percentage of .375,  an on-base percentage of .350 and a fielding percentage of .920 (37 putouts and nine assists)…. In mid March, went 4-5 against Elms College.

2007: Started in 29 games, batting .352 with15 RBIs, 2 HRs and 47 total bases…. Buckley went 4-5 against USM in April.

2006: Started in 33 games, batting .286 with 15 RBIs, playing outfield, third base and pitcher…. Used as Bates’ primary closer in relief, Buckley registered a 0.00 earned run average in 7 1/3 innings over eight appearances, going 0-1 with two saves and seven strikeouts.

2005: Saw action both as an outfielder and a pitcher in his first year with the team … Played in 18 games in the field, starting 12 of them … batted .239 … Pitched in five games, all in relief … Held opponents to a .278 average against … Posted an ERA of 5.40

High School: Two-year captain and three-year letter winner of baseball team…. All-Conference Baseball…. Also captain of the hockey team…. All-league and All-Conference in Hockey…. Honor Roll
