2008: Started 35 of 35 games played…. Batted an average of .368 (50-136) with one homerun….. Led the team in total bases (66), hits (50) and RBIs (30)….. Earned a slugging percentage of .485 and a fielding percentage of .913 with 50 putouts and 108 assists…. In late April, went 4-5 and scored two runs and one homerun in the first game of a doubleheader against Emerson College; in the second game, Mahoney went 2-4, scoring one run.
2007: Started in all 29 games….Led the team in batting average (.357), hits (41), and runs scored (22)…. Mahoney concluded his season with a .409 slugging percentage and 47 total bases.
2006: Set Bates’ single-season hits record with 48…. Batted a team-high .372 with a team-high .446 on-base percentage, scoring 23 runs, driving in 23 and belting one home run. Led Bobcats with 12 doubles.
2005: Anchored the Bates attack as a first-year, serving as starting shortstop and leadoff hitter for much of the year … Ranked third on the team in Batting average at .333 … Second on the team in slugging percentage at .426 … Second on team in runs (19), hits(36), doubles(5), homeruns(1) total bases (46) and RBI (15) … Made only six errors in 91 chances at shortstop, good for a .934 fielding percentage … Also saw limited action on the mound for the Bobcats, posting a 7.20 ERA in two appearances.
