New faculty join the Biology Department
The Department of Biology welcomes two new faculty members during AY 2012-13.
Dr. Glen Ernstrom, Visiting Assistant Professor, will be replacing Dr. Nancy Kleckner (on sabbattical) for the 2012-13 AY. Dr. Ernstrom studies the transmission of signals at nerve synapses using molecular and advanced imaging techniques. To learn more about his research and teaching, visit his faculty page.
Dr. Larissa Williams joins the department as its newest tenure track Assistant Professor and will begin teaching in January 2013. Dr. Williams studies mechanisms of toxicity in aquatic systems using molecular approaches. She is currently completing a post-doc position at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
