Karen Palin’s scientific research interests and experience are in areas of molecular epidemiology, public health, medical microbiology, and host-parasite relationships. Her current research involves host and bacterial determinants of urinary tract infections caused by Staphylococcus saprophyticus which disproportionately infects young women.
