Lea Johnson – Plant Ecology

Lea Johnson is a plant ecologist interested in urban systems, ecological restoration and applications of ecological science to land management. She has managed ecological restoration projects, consulted on environmental design, and developed monitoring and research programs to inform long-term management. She enjoys teaching field courses and helping students to see ecological processes in everyday life. Her work has taken her to a variety of ecosystems, from the mountains of New Mexico and temperate rainforests of Oregon to the highlands of Guatemala and back woods of New York City.
