Martin Kruse – Neurobiology
Carnegie Science Hall, Room 310
Ph.D. in Chemistry, University of Hamburg, Germany
Professor Kruse’s research focuses on factors controlling the activity of nerve cells. He is particularly interested in phosphoinositides, a class of rare phospholipids that serve as important regulators of neuronal signaling. He uses genetic, biochemical, electrophysiological, and computational approaches to study the role of these phospholipids in neuronal cell lines.
