Note: Deadlines pertain ONLY to students and alums requesting a Committee Interview and Committee Letter. Generally, this means applicants to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools, and some dental schools.
(#1) Personal Statement: Since AMCAS applications require an essay of 5300 character including spaces, this should be the length of the personal statement required by the application service you are applying too. This is one of the most important parts of your application and should be done in a series of ever improving drafts. DON’T wait until the last minute. There will be a personal statement writing workshop in the late fall. Watch for an announcement on Healthwork.
