Jacob is an interfaith chaplain, spiritual and grief counselor, teacher, spiritual practitioner and author. He has spent his life making and holding sacred space for people of all faith backgrounds to explore their spirituality, pursue interfaith religious education, and heal from spiritual and emotional wounds.Jacob pursued his doctorate from the University of Creation Spirituality of Matthew Fox in California; he co-founded the Collins Brook School, the Center for Grieving Children, and the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine; he has been a spiritual counselor, grief counselor, interfaith chaplain, and hospice volunteer. Jacob has also written two books and now, retired, dedicates his time to speaking engagements, personal spiritual practice, writing, and meditation.
