Facilities and Equipment

The Bates Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is located in the Bonney Science Center.  This facility houses faculty offices, teaching and research labs, stockroom, and classrooms where most chemistry courses are taught.

Buildings

Bonney Science Center

The latest new construction on Bates campus, the Bonney Science Center offers state-of-the-art lab spaces, equipment, and enhanced technology classrooms. Several faculty offices from the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department, Biology Department, and the Program in Neuroscience are housed within Bonney.

Dana Hall

Having been recently renovated, Dana Hall was re-opened in August of 2022. Following the Bonney Science Center, Dana is equipped with new classrooms, lab spaces, and student write-up spaces to encourage collaboration.
