Thomas A. Hayward

Tom Hayward is a Lecturer in Classical and Medieval Studies and also the Humanities Reference Librarian at Bates’ Ladd Library. His scholarly interests are in Latin poetry, translation studies, and the relationship between the Classics and English literature (particularly the nineteenth century).  He teaches all levels of Latin and a course on Ovid’ Metamorphoses and its influence on modern culture.
