Beautiful Thomas Point Beach, just off Route 24 in Brunswick, has much more to offer than just a day in the sun! Thomas Point Beach offers individuals, families, and groups of all sizes, a variety of exciting summer happenings. Here you will find a clean, sandy beach on tidal water overlooking relaxing Thomas Bay.
The long sandy beach and grassy promenade on the northeast shore of Lower Range Pond offer beachgoers lots of elbow room to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. Visitors will appreciate swimming in the clear waters of the pond, relaxing on 1,000 feet of beach, playing games on the cool grass, and picnicking with family and friends. Lifeguards are on duty from mid-June through Labor Day. The beach area and restrooms are handicapped accessible. Pets are not allowed on state park beaches, but are welcome on a four foot leash elsewhere.
Old Orchard Beach is easy to reach by major highways in Maine. Exit 36 and 42 off the Maine Turnpike (I-95) takes you quickly into our popular seaside resort, as does the access from the U.S. Route I. By air, we are serviced by the Portland Jetport, 13 miles north.
