Matthew C. Jadud

Associate Professor of Digital and Computational Studies

Digital and Computational Studies

Pettengill Hall, Room 365

Matt is unabashedly interdisciplinary in his work. His research explores the behavior of novice programmers, and he also enjoys engaging students in the design and development of low-cost, open hardware for sensing and automation. In the classroom, Matt expects to work broadly across the liberal arts, challenging students to use computing as a way to question what they know, how they learn, and their place in the world. With this move, Matt and his family look forward to exploring the coasts and waterways of Maine, and he hopes to squeeze in the occasional bit of squash and racquetball.
