How to: Embed Ensemble Videos on Websites

 

For the Bates website:

Inside your Ensemble Video library, click the tiny blue and white “Information” icon next to the video you want to share.

Copy the “Content ID”.

Go to your Bates (or WordPress) web page.

Click the “Add Ensemble Video” button.

Paste your Content ID into the box.

An Ensemble “shortcode” appears inside your new page (or post) window.

Now click the “Publish” button and your video is shared!

Note: If you are within the bates.edu domain and do not see the “Add Ensemble Video” button, contact ckelley@bates.edu. If you are using a self hosted website, download the Ensemble Video plugin for free here:¬†http://support.ensemblevideo.com/setup-wordpress-shortcodes/

 

For sites that are not using WordPress (i.e. Lyceum):

Click the video you want to share on your website or Lyceum course.

Click the “Embed” button.

Highlight and copy the provided link.

Paste the iframe code into your webpage.

Please note: we expect a simplified sharing structure to be released in late Fall 2013.
