Financial Crises and the International Monetary System

On May 4, 2016, Wednesday, Dr. Robert Flood and Dr. Michael Dooley presented two talks to the Bates community.

At 9:30 am, Dr. Robert Flood, Professor, University of Notre Dame (Retired) gave a talk on “Financial Crises: Lessons from Recent and Not So Recent History” and at 1:30 pm, Dr. Michael Dooley, Professor, University of California at Santa Cruz (Retired), NBER Research Associate, Chief Economist, Cabezon Capital gave his talk “International Capital Flows and China.”  Both were followed by question and answer period.
