Barry M. Farber

Farber received his M.B.A. degree with a specialty in finance from U.C.L.A.
From 1980-2006 he taught full-time at the University of Maine at Augusta where he was a Professor of Business Administration. He was awarded the distinction of Emeritus Professor of Business in 2006. His main areas of interest includes entrepreneurship, finance, and accounting. He also has been one of the pioneers in the University’s distance learning program. Since 1987 he has taught accounting on a part-time basis at Bates.
