Rangeley Islands II
Trip Description
Rangeley Islands is a new trip this year that will be a relaxing amphibious trip exploring all corners of Rangeley Lake and the Green Mountains of New Hampshire. Canoeing days will be spent journeying to the rope swing, jumping rock and an eagle’s nest. Two days hiking in the Green Mountains allows for great views of Rangeley Lake and the White Mountains.
*Rangeley Islands I & II share the same itinerary, but are run in opposite directions.
Olivia Gregorius
Hey there! My name’s Olivia (Liv) and I am excited to be starting my Junior year this Fall. I’m a Long Islander studying Art History and Education at Bates. You can usually find me singing A Capella, volunteering around town, running, or on a yoga mat but all in all you can always find me with a smile! I am reporting to you from Fiji, one of the places where I am trekking around this semester while abroad, but I must say I am missing dear Bates and its lovely ways. So come explore the outdoors with John and I for we promise good tunes, laughs and stories galore as well as a wonderful introduction to Bates!
John Barbadoro
Hello my friends! I am John and I will be your AESOP trip leader! I will be a Senior in the fall and I am excited to get to know you guys! I am currently studying Healthcare in China this semester, as well as practicing Taiji. You want to learn? We will for sure be doing Taiji every morning to wake up. At Bates, I play Frisbee on Orange Whip, I love the outing club, and I started the Curling team. Yup, we have a curling team. This summer, I will be working at Camp Belknap in New Hampshire, and getting ready for our trip! I know the Squam lakes areas pretty well and am excited for Liv and I to show you guys all the awesome hidden gems in the White Mountains!
