Professor Retelle is a Quaternary Geologist interested in glacial and post-glacial environments in Maine, the Canadian arctic, and Shetland. His research involves studies of glaciation, sea level changes, and climate change of the last millenia and is most interested in glacial and lacustrine deposition systems.
