Surplus Furniture

Facility Services Showroom – As space allows, Facility Services accepts certain items of furniture and equipment that a department no longer needs.  Typically, anyone may come to Facility Services, stop at the office and obtain a clipboard, and then label the item in the showroom they are choosing.  After, if small enough, they may either take the item with them, or, when they return the clipboard to the front desk, arrange to have it delivered.

Once the label is applied, there is a 30 day “grace” period, which allows time to go back to an office, measure, and otherwise ensure the item chosen, will fit in the space.  After the 30 days, the item will be returned to the showroom, for selection by another individual.  Due to space limitations, we are unable to store furniture and equipment beyond the 30 days.

Facility Services Showroom business hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, during the summer months).
