Surplus Furniture

Facility Services “Showroom” – As space allows, Facility Services accepts certain items of furniture and equipment that a department no longer needs.  Typically, anyone looking for a particular item should come in person to Facility Services, stop at the office and obtain a clipboard, and then label the item in the showroom they have chosen.  After, if small enough, they may either take the item with them, or, when they return the clipboard to the front desk, arrange to have it delivered, when our time allows.

If, however, you have “selected and tagged” an item, but wish to return to your office to re-measure, after you have done so, we ask that you please call the Work Order line (Ext. 6449), to either have it delivered, or to have the tag removed.  The item will then be made available to others.

Facility Services Showroom business hours are 7:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday – Friday, (7:00 am – 3:15 pm, during the summer months), though we also ask that you not come between 9 and 9:30 or 11:30 am – 12:30 pm, ideally.  We are open until 4:00 pm during the school year and open until 3:30 pm in the summer, but by coming 15 minutes earlier, this allows time for you to “shop” before we close/lock the office and building.
