The rigorous academic program at Bates prepares qualified students for prominent competitive  awards such as the Fulbright, Rhodes, and Watson fellowships. 

Fellowship applicants should allow at least two months to brainstorm, research and revise with the Graduate Fellowships Advisor, Sagaree Sengupta, before the campus deadlines.  The Graduate Fellowships Office is closed June 15-August 15.
