Latest NewsFour Players and Field Hockey Team Earn NFHCA All-Academic Honors 3/17/ 2003 LEWISTON, Maine – The Bates College field hockey team was well represented in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's All-Academic awards, as four players were named to the 2003 NFCHA Division III National Academic Squad, and the team was one of 60 to post a team GPA of 3.0 or better. Lori Jessup '04 (Hatboro, Pa.), Megan Petry '07 (Crestwood, Ky.), Annie Schauer '04 (Louisville, Ky.) and Valerie Wicks '04 (Westfield, N.J.) all earned spots on the National Academic Squad for the Bobcats. Student-athletes selected to the National Academic Squad have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the fall semester of the 2003-04 academic year. |
