2008

2007: Ranked fifth in the NESCAC for passing, averaging 173.8 yards per game, eighth in total offense, averaging 168.1 yards per game, and seventh in pass efficiency (95.5)…. Colon finished the season with 119 completions out of 246 attempts, with 1,390 passing yards, ending his career with the all-time Bates records in all three of those categories, with totals of 453 completions, 949 passes and 5,162 yards….. Threw for 235 yards, hit Bates tight end Sean Wirth  for two touchdowns and finished 21-for-37 passing as Bates notched a 17-16 victory at Hamilton in the season finale at Steuben Field, Bates’ fourth consecutive win against Hamilton.


2006: For the second straight season was the starting quarterback for all eight games…. Completed 108 passes for 1,219 yards on the season, totals that ranked him fifth in the conference in both categories…. Threw three touchdown passes on the year, including two in the season finale against Hamilton……Had his two most productive efforts of the season during the last two weeks of the year, netting 225 and 230 yards through the air against Bowdoin and Hamilton, respectively.


2005: Started all eight games at quarterback and threw for 145.6 yards per game, with a 49.1 completion percentage, and six touchdown passes…. Set a Bates school record for lowest interception percentage, with only five pickoffs on 226 attempts (2.2 percent).


2004: Named NESCAC Offensive Rookie of the Year. … Started the final six games of the season…ranked third among conference quarterbacks with 173 passing yards per game and a 99.6 passer rating. .. Set the Bates single-game completion record in a loss to Colby, completing 28-of-52 pass attempts for 294 yards. .. Completed 49.6 percent of his passes on the season…. Threw five touchdown passes.
