2006:  Named to the ECAC Division III Northeast All-Star Team, the first Bobcat to receive the honor since 1999……Named to the All-NESCAC 1st Team for the second year in a row…..eclipsed his own team record of sacks in a season with 11.5 in 2006, good for second in the conference all-time…..Led the conference and was ranked 4th in all of Division III with 2.5 tackles for loss per game….Was tied for the conference lead in forced fumbles….Ended his career with a solid performance against Hamilton tallying 6 tackles, 3.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. 

2005: Named to the All-NESCAC First Team, and was NESCAC Defensive Player of the Week after the Nov. 12 game at Hamilton, in which he had 2.5 sacks, eight tackles and two forced fumbles. …  His 10.5 sacks in 2005 were the most seen in NESCAC play since New York Jets head coach Eric Mangini achieved the same feat in 1993 for Wesleyan. Ryan finished the season with 1.3 sacks per game, the third highest average in Division III. He also ranked 20th in Division III in forced fumbles (0.38 per game) and 41st in tackles for loss (1.6 per game); in the NESCAC, he ranked second and first in those categories, respectively. … Ryan collected 10 sacks over the Bobcats’ final five games. … Other outstanding games included Oct. 29 at Colby (11 tackles, 3 sacks) and Oct. 15 against Wesleyan (11 tackles, 2.5 sacks, forced fumble). … His 53 tackles were third on the Bobcats.

2004: Played in four games….total of 20 tackles on the season…7.5 tackles for loss…2.5 sacks.

2003: Played in all eight games as a reserve defensive end … made 10 tackles, including stops behind the line of scrimmage against Tufts and Bowdoin … forced a fumble against Wesleyan … broke up two passes and had three quarterback hurries.

High School: Captain … team MVP … All-League … All-New England Prep Team … also captain, team MVP and All-League for the basketball team.
