2008: Started all 8 games for the Bobcats playing wide receiver and quarterback…Led the team in touchdowns with 4…Ranked third on the team in receiving yards with 219…Tied for first on the team with the most receiving touchdowns with three including two touchdown receptions in a win over Hamilton on November 8…Second on the team in all purpose yards with 369 yards for an average of 46.1 yards a game…Ranked third on the team in rushing yards with 114…Rushed for a touchdown in a loss at Bowdoin on November 1…Was the leading punt returner on the team…Had a 106.8 passer efficieny rating as a quarterback on 18 attempts.
2007: Ranked third in the NESCAC for all-purpose yards, averaging 109.6 yards per game, sixth in the NESCAC for receiving, averaging 55 yards per game, and sixth in the NESCAC for kick return average (18.4 per game)…. Finished the season with 877 all-purpose yards, the highest total for a Bobcat since Sean Atkins ’03 had 1,085 in 2002….. Ranked first on team in punt returns (nine for 55 yards) and kick returns (17 for 312 yards), as well as second on team in touchdowns scored (three)…. Totaled 70 in rushing yardage…. Beaton had a game-high seven catches and 93 yards against Hamilton at the end of the season.
