Kristen Stern, Ph.D. Boston University
Kristen Stern is Visiting Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies. She has taught French language and literature at Boston College, Boston University, and Simmons College. Her research and teaching interests include contemporary francophone literature, performance studies, cultural studies, and digital humanities. In her current research project, Writing on Stage: Performative Authorship and Contemporary Francophone African Writers, she investigates how today’s writers from the continent working in French construct their authorial personae across print and digital platforms, and in personal appearances.
She will teach in the Fall FRE101 and FRE205.
