Major

A major in Women and Gender Studies consists of ten courses:

• WGST 100 “Introduction to Women and Gender Studies”
• AA/WS 201 “Race, Ethnicity, and Feminist Thought”
• INDS 250 “Methods and Modes of Inquiry”
• WGST 400 (see list in College Catalog)
• WGST 457 or WGST 458 (Senior Thesis)
• two other 300- or 400-level WGS courses (see list in College Catalog)
• three other WGS committee-approved courses, any level (see list in the College Catalog; no more than one short term unit may be counted)
