130 Central Avenue The Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building, known to most on campus as Gray Cage, is Bates' second-largest indoor athletic facility. Before the construction of Merrill Gymnasium, the Cage was used for indoor track events and athletic practices. Renovated in 1992, it now houses a large, rubberized, multipurpose surface used for intramural sports, indoor team practices, and large concerts and events. |
