Sally Weiss, M.S
Sally is the Program Director for CMMC and is a native Mainer. She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Vermont, followed by several years’ work in health insurance. After her sister suffered difficulties from diabetes and numerous health insurance battles , Sally was impassioned to improve the state of U.S. healthcare system and its relationship with patients, families, and physicians. She went on to obtain a Master’s in Health Policy and Management from the University of Southern Maine. While completing her degree she lived in France, where she undertook extensive research in the French healthcare system and its delivery of preventive health services to children. She returned to the States to complete her work in graduate medical education.
In her free time Sally and her family enjoy skiing, biking, gardening, and enjoying Maine’s outdoor life.
