How do I install an Academic Network Printer on my computer?  

Windows 7:

  1. Click on the Windows Start Button.
  2. In the Start Menuclick in the Search programs and files.
  3. Type in the following: \hudson and press the Return Key.
  4. A list of all the Academic Printers available to you will be presented to you in a Window
    1. Printers are named by the abbreviation of the building there are located in, the room number they are physically located, plus a sequence letter.
    2. Example: A printer in Pettengill Hall, RM 329 would be named PGILL-329-A. Additional printers in that location would be represented by an incremented sequence letter.

  5. Find the printer you want to install and double-click on it to begin the installation. 

Mac OS X:

  1. Click on Finder to open the Applications Folder.
  2. Locate and double-click the App Self Service.
  3. Using your Bates Network Credentials, login to Self Service.
  4. On the right side of the Window, locate the Categories Menu and click on Hudson Printers.
  5. A list of all the Adademic Printers available to you will be presented to you in a Window

  6. Click the Install button to install the printer.
