I need to move my telephone to another location. What are the steps I should take?

When moving your telephone/extenstion, please email the IT Service Desk (helpdesk@bates.edu) with the following information:

  • The full name and username of the person of who the telephone/extenstion is assigned to.
  • Your telephone number/extension.
    • Example: (207) 555-1212 / x1212

  • The location of where the telephone/extension is currently located.
  • The location of where the telephone/extenstion is to be relocated.
  • A preferred date and time to schedule the relocation.
  • The name and contact information (phone and email address) of the move coordinator.
