How do I assign my Academic Administrative Assistant as a Scheduler in Zoom?

Assigning your Academic Administrative Assistant as your Scheduler (Zoom Pro Accounts):

Activate Account – Once you have requested a video conference, you will receive a link to activate your Zoom account.

  • Using your Bates College credentials to log in to your Zoom account.
  • On the top of the window, click the My Settings tab.
  • Scroll down the until you find the Schedule Privilege section and click Add
  • In the Assign scheduling privilege box, enter the Bates email address of your Academic Administrative Assistant, then click Assign.

This will allow the AAA to do all of the scheduling and it will show up in your Zoom Account as well as your Google Calendar.

Accessing Your Meetings

  • Using your Bates College credentials to log in to your Zoom account.
  • In the left navigation menu, click the My Meeting option.
    • This will show you all of the meeting/interviews you have scheduled. 
    • Click the Start button on the right.

  • A window will pop up, follow the instructions listed and click the Launch Application button.
  • Another window will pop up, click Join Audio By Computer to begin your Zoom session.
