Staff Selection Process
The hiring process for the upcoming school year’s Residence Life staff begins in mid-January. Application materials are available online and at the Housing & Residence Life Office in Lane Hall in January. We require letters of recommendation in addition to the completed applications. Your completed application materials will be read by a current JARC staff members, staff and faculty members, and members of the Dean of Students Office.
Staff will be selected based on application review and an interview in early or mid-February by a committee composed of members of the Dean of Students Office, faculty, staff, and current RCs/JAs. All staff are appointed by the Dean of Students office and work closely with the Deans in carrying out their duties.
