Moving Local Folders into Bates Gmail

With 25GB account limits in Gmail, we are encouraging all users to move their local folders into their Gmail account. This will make sure that the data is safe in case of computer failure. Be sure to reconfigure Thunderbird with the new Bates Mail settings.

1) In Thunderbird, drag the folder from the Local Folders area and drop it on your Bates Google account. This will copy the folder and all it’s contents into Google.

2) Depending on the total number of messages, the copy may take awhile.

3) Do this for each folder you want to secure in Gmail.
