Typing Chinese in Windows 7
Adding the Ability to Type in Chinese (Simplified) on Windows Computers
1) Click on the Start button and select Devices and Printers

2) Click on Control Panel

3) Click on Clock, Language and Region

4) Click Change keyboards or other input methods

5) Click Change Keyboard

6) Find the Chinese (Simplified, PRC) category and click Add

7) Check off Chinese (Simplified) – Microsoft Pinyin ABC Input Style

8) Click OK
9) Click Apply
10) Click OK
11) Click OK again
You should now be able to type in Chinese by clicking on the EN logo in the lower right and selecting Chinese (Simplified).
