Intermittent Internet 9/13/12

Hello Bates Community,

We have received a number of reports that web access to certain sites is slow or may be timing out. Network Administration is aware of the issue and is working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Update 9/13/12 5:19pm – Network Admin reports that slow site performance has been repaired. Further problems should be reported to Help Desk Services (x8222).
Update 9/14/12 10:35am – Further reports of slow or unresponsive web sites have come to our attention. Network Administration is looking into it.
Update 9/14/12 2:20pm – Network Administration have made some changes which we believe should resolve web site access issues. If you experience further problems, please let Help Desk Services know as soon as possible.
