Support in the Sciences
Two peer-to-peer programs are specifically designed to support student learning and writing in the sciences.
- Peer Assisted Learning in the Sciences (PALS), staffed by student Peer Science Leaders, offers peer-facilitated out-of-class group study sessions in “gateway” and difficult science courses.
- Technical Writing Assistants are experienced student science writers who offer readerly response to peers doing scientific writing in Biology and Geology.
