The library staff welcomes Bates students past and present to Ladd.

When you arrive, you’ll probably notice preparations for a remodeling project that will proceed throughout the summer and conclude before the return of students next fall.  We’re all very excited about the coming changes and would be happy to chat with you about them.

While you are here, you might take advantage of our large Batesiana Collection which contains:

Yearbooks from each class back to 1899
Bates Alumnus 1921 – 2011
Bates Student Newspaper 1916 – 2012

And two copies of “Bates Through the Years, an Illustrated History” by Charles E. Clark
