The catalog contains records for:

• Books, periodicals, government documents, theses, maps, CD-ROMs, scores, sound recordings, videos, and DVDs that are housed in The George & Helen Ladd Library.
• Manuscript collections and books that are housed in The Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library.
• Remote electronic sources (e.g., electronic journals, electronic government documents, databases, electronic books).

Some items that are housed in the library are not in the catalog.
These include:

• Many government documents received before 1998. Look for these
  in the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications.
• Those reserve items that are not owned by the library. Look for these
  under Reserves.
