Welcome to Bates College’s 2008 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships website.

Bates has hosted four NCAA Championships in the past, most recently the 2004 NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championship. Bates also served as the host for the NCAA Skiing Championships in 1999 and 1976 and the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships in 1985.

Eight teams will be invited to compete for the team title, while the top 32 singles players and the top 16 doubles pairs will vie for the individual titles.

The team championship will begin on May 13 and run through May 15, while the individual singles and doubles tournaments will run from May 16-18.

Bates College is very pleased and proud to have been asked to once again host the NCAA Division III Men’s Tennis Championships, following a successful venture the last time Bates hosted the tournament in 2004. We hope to provide a similarly electric atmosphere and experience, and we look forward to again showcasing Bates College and the Lewiston-Auburn area, as well as some of the best tennis and top student-athletes in the country.
