2007-2008:

Indoor Track: Placed ninth for Bates, just 39 points out of eighth place in the pentathlon at New Englands…. Bates finished 20th in the 4×400 relay at Open New Englands with a time of 3:27.44, the Bobcats’ best time of the season, running the relay, in order, were Ryan Quinn, Carlos Castro, Brett Epler and Emmanuel Drabo.

Outdoor Track: At Open New Englands in May, ran a 56.10-second 400-meter hurdles, good for 14th place out of 28…. At New Englands, finished 10th in the 400-meter hurdles, with a time of 56.93 secods, and 13th in the 110-meter hurdles, with a time of 16.55….Placed eighth in the 400 hurdles (57.52 seconds) at NESCAC Championships.

Pre-Bates Academic Honors/Extracurricular Activities: Honor Roll… four-year member of the Key Club… Member of Who’s Who.

High School Athletic Honors: Captain of cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track his senior year… Member of the record-holding 4×400 m relay team… Conference all-star in the 300 m hurdles… Earned two varsity letters in both cross-country and outdoor track… 3-time varsity letter winner in indoor track
