Ryan Quinn

2007-2008:

Indoor Track: At State of Maine Championships placed second in the long jump  (20-04.25), third in the 55 meter dash (6.69) and sixth in the 200 meter dash (23.41)…. At New Englands, qualified for the finals in both the 55-meter and 200-meter dashes, recording personal records and finishing fifth in both events at 6.63 seconds and 22.93 seconds, respectively…. Bates finished 20th in the 4×400 relay at Open New Englands with a time of 3:27.44, the Bobcats’ best time of the season, running the relay, in order, were Ryan Quinn, Carlos Castro, Brett Epler and Emmanuel Drabo.

Outdoor Track: At New Englands, finished 13th in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 51.12…. Ran a 51.45 in the 400-meter dash and a 23.18 in the 200-meter dash at NESCAC Championships…. Fourth in the 100- and third in the 200-meter dashes (11.43 and 22.85, respectively) and at State of Maine Championships in April.

Pre-Bates Academic Honors: High Honor Roll… National Honor Society

High School Athletic Honors: All-League in the 400 meters and triple jump his junior year… All-League in the 200 meters, long jump, and 4×400 meters his senior year… MVP in both indoor and outdoor track in his senior year… Conference All-Star both his junior and senior year… Holds high school records in the 300 m, 55 m, long jump, and decathalon… 3-time varsity letter winner in hockey and football… 4-time varsity letter winner in outdoor track… Earned varsity letter honors in indoor track
