Aircraft from VF-24 flew nearly one thousand missions to enforce the international no-fly zone over southern Iraq. In all, aircraft from John’s squadron flew nearly 1,900 hours and completed 1,050 arrested landings aboard the carrier…. J.P. Fingado announces his engagement to Julie Adams. Since graduation, D. Randy West Jr. has completed Navy officer candidate school. He earned a commission as an ensign and finished training in his first Naval aircraft. Now living in Pensacola, Fla., he is learning to fly helicopters.
