Tap out a note to magazine@bates.edu!  In Boulder, Colo., Jay Bright is vice president of marketing for NET delivery corporation, a secure document delivery and electronic bill and payment company. Living in Colorado on the front range of the Rockies with a relatively mild climate means that he can play golf even many days in the winter. Daughters Madison Rose (9) and Riley (3) are both very athletic. Classmate Tom Goodwin lives in Telluride and is a skilled carpenter. He and wife Marie built a home there which they rent out at Christmas and go to Switzerland to visit Marie’s mother and ski. “Not bad going from some of the best skiing in the U.S. to some of the best skiing in the world!” Two years ago Jay accepted Tom’s invitation to visit them for 12 days in Verbier, found the skiing unbelievable. “From the top of Verbier you can see into four other countries along with The Eiger and Mont Blanc. You can ski down into Italy, eat lunch, and then take the gondola back up.” … After seven years with the Univ. of Virginia, Jocelyn Kelley joined a landscape architecture firm, Nelson-Byrd LA, in Charlottesville, Va…. Anne Sargent Lewchick writes: “Mark and I adopted a baby in June 2000. It’s been nearly a year since our trip to China, and our little Lindsay is 19 months — beautiful, happy, healthy, and very active!”
