George Drury‘s latest train guide is The Railfan Guide to France, published in 2004. France was the first European country to develop a high-speed train, George notes, and today its network of high-speed train services is the most extensive. George has experienced the trains of France in five visits over 23 years, and his guide is the product of his personal experiences, providing descriptions of railroad attractions and travel information. Not just for enthusiasts, the guide also offers travel tips and hotel recommendations. To order, contact the author at geodrury@execpc.com…. Gail Emerson writes: “Still doing physical therapy at my clinic, Mauna Kea Physical Therapy. I want to keep going while it is fun and then phase out to part time. I make an annual trip back to New England (mostly New Hampshire) every September-October (what better time of year?). Aloha to all!”… Dick Gurney was inducted into the Burlington (Mass.) High School Hall of Fame. He played middle linebacker in football and catcher/shortstop in baseball. He now plays in the over-60 Long Island Softball League.
