Winter Carnival 2007 Puddle Jump

So it all balances out. Last year’s Winter Carnival puddle jump was on a 52-degree day. By jump time in 2007, on Jan. 26 at 4:24 pm, it was a bum-numbing 3 degrees, perhaps explaining the bigger spectator turnout — folks were looking for some real sufferin’. That’s Greg Marcotte ’07 of North Andover, Mass., exiting the water, while the Outing Club’s Zand Martin ’08 of Kensington, Conn., climbing ax in hand, looks on. Photograph by H.
