Star Parties allow you to see distant stars and galaxies with your own eyes, through telescopes provided by Bates Astronomy Club and local astronomy clubs. These telescopic views give visitors a greater appreciation of the capabilities of artists to capture and convey subtle details in these subjects, as seen in the Starstruck exhibition.
Weather permitting, Star Party scheduled for October 22.
