Monsulick '07 (Kents Hill, Maine) finished the 8-kilometer race in 27:04.2. He was the 11th first-year runner to cross the finish line in the 215-runner field. Wartburg's Josh Moen won the race in 24:34.4, beating his nearest competitor by nearly 30 seconds. Calvin took the team title easily, scoring just 48 points with six runners in the top-20. Monsulick was one of nine individual qualifiers to represent the New England Region at the national championship meet. The NCAA field is comprised of 24 teams of up to seven individuals and 47 additional individuals determined through regional competition. |
