Painter to discuss spiritualism
William Hart McNichols, iconographer, AIDS hospice chaplain and priest, discusses A Painter’s Spiritual Journey as part of a Bates lecture series Spiritual Journeys: Stories of the Soul March 11 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 104 of the Olin Arts Center. This event is co-sponsored by the Museum of Art, and the public is invited to attend free of charge.
The academic-year series features individuals who represent a variety of religious traditions, disciplines and professions such as psychology, dance, peace activism and education. Speakers lead participants through a brief encounter with a spiritual practice or experience that has been important in their own lives.
