Wednesday February 11, 1998 2:06 pm	Students named Philip J. Otis Fellows Bates College sophomores Matthew Ensner of Asheville, N.C., and Takeshi Miyamoto of Tokyo, Japan, have been named Philip J. Otis Fellows and will receive $5,000 grants for research and travel to promote greater understanding of environmental issues and the connection between the environment and spirituality.
Monday February 9, 1998 2:09 pm	Bates Junior Sports Camp Filled Both sessions of the Bates College Junior Sports Camp, a half-day program for youngsters 5 to 7 years of age, have been filled. The sessions run June 29-July 10 and July 13-24.
Friday February 6, 1998 2:06 pm	Black History Month events scheduled at Bates Bates College celebrates Black History Month with a series of events, including an African Diaspora Film Series, scheduled throughout the month of February and the first week of March.
