Bates seniors to stage "An Evening of Performance Art"

Bates senior theater majors Chris Mathien of Veazie, Maine, and Kathleen Wyatt of Braintree, Mass., will stage "An Evening of Performance Art" at 8 p.m. March 24 and 25 and at 2 p.m. March 26 in Gannett Theater, Bates College.

Physical anthropologist to discuss myths of race at Bates

The public is invited to attend the annual Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Lecture free of charge.

Conservative Maine author to speak at Bates

Conservative Maine author Andrew Ian Dodge will discuss "Statism Sucks" in a Bates College lecture at 4 p.m. Friday, March 17, in Skelton Lounge of Chase Hall. The public is invited to attend this lecture, one of a series of events planned in 2000 to honor the 50th anniversary of the Bates College Republicans.
