College of Wooster awards Bates president Harward honorary doctorate
Bates College President Donald W. Harward has been awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree from The College of Wooster at the Ohio college’s commencement this year. Harward was Wooster’s vice president for academic affairs from 1982 until 1989, when he accepted the Bates’ presidency.
